Article 1 Service
LINE Custom Audience is a service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by LINE Corporation and LINE Plus Corporation and its affiliates as the distributor (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Company") that enables the transmission of messages from Company-designated accounts (such as LINE official accounts), using mobile advertising IDs or hashed phone numbers held by customers (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Audience Data").
Article 2 Customers' Covenants
1. Customers covenant that, when transmitting messages distributed to designated mobile advertising IDs (hereinafter referred to as "Mobile Advertising ID Designated Messages") or messages distributed to designated phone numbers of the Users (hereinafter referred to as "Phone Number Designated Messages" and, collectively with Mobile Advertising ID Designated Messages, "Designated Messages") to LINE users (hereinafter referred to as "Users"), they will set a number of recipients that exceeds the number specified in media guide
2. When sending Phone Number Designated Messages, customers shall provide the Company with the relevant phone numbers that are hashed at their own responsibility via such method separately designated by the Company.
3. Customers shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations (including guidelines provided by the Company).
4. Customers represent and warrant all matters listed in the following items to the Company in respect of their use of the Services.
(1) Mobile advertising IDs or phone numbers are collected through legal means, including the procurement of consent from Users holding relevant mobile advertising IDs or phone numbers.
(2) Customers have obtained permissions from Users holding relevant mobile advertising IDs or phone numbers, through legal means, including the procurement of consent, for sending messages using Audience Data as a key.
5. Designated Messages shall be available only for advertising purposes and customers represent and warrant to the Company that they will not use Designated Messages for any other purpose.
6. Designated Messages may only be transmitted with contents that are in compliance with Company-prescribed guidelines and other applicable guidelines.
7. Customers shall not transmit Designated Messages containing personal information such as names, e-mail addresses and domicile addresses, identifiers of Service customers or any other information or expression that, if sent to the wrong recipient, would disadvantage Users who are supposed to receive the Designated Messages.
8. Customers agree that, if Users exercise their right to opt-out of messages transmitted through the Service via the mobile terminal equipment held by Users or via Service functions voluntarily provided by the Company, such Users shall be excluded from among the recipients of such transmissions even if the Audience Data of the relevant Users are included in the Audience Data provided to the Company.
Article 3 Disclaimer of the Company
1. The Company shall not be liable for any damages caused by errors in settings by customers.
2. Customers acknowledge in advance that the transmission of messages, using LINE, to the Users may be impossible, and that the messages may be transmitted to parties who are different from the Users recognized by customers (including, but not limited to, cases where the User phone numbers held by customers are inaccurate or the User phone numbers held by customers and the phone numbers held by the Company do not match), and the Company shall not be liable for any damages caused to customers by such failure in message transmission.
Article 4 Application
The Service is an additional service related to the LINE official account and these Terms of Use fall under individual agreements defined in the LINE Official Account Terms of Use. In the event of any discrepancy between these Terms of Use and other applicable terms, priority shall be given in the following order: these Terms of Use, the LINE Official Account API Terms of Use (if customers use API), and the LINE Official Account Terms of Use.
