Q: What kind of service is this?

LINE Shake-up lets you get information on events relevant to your time and location when you shake your device.

Q: Why do you need my location and who receives it?

LINE Corp. and its subsidiaries and affiliates will acquire the current time and GPS data from your device in order to deliver event information for LINE and LINE family services.

Q: Will LINE Shake-up send my location if my phone shakes while LINE is off? Also, will LINE Shake-up continue to send my location info after just one shake?

LINE Shake-up will never send data continuously. When shook, Shake-up will only send your location data once if the following conditions are met:

• You've given permission for this app to access your device's GPS data

• LINE Shake-up is enabled

• LINE is active and in the foreground

Q: Can I disable LINE Shake-up?

You can disable LINE Shake-up at any time by going to Settings > Privacy.
